The Pond Street House transformation added a new kitchen and adjoining conservatory room to an extraordinarily challenging slate roof condition.  While modest in size relative to the rest of this grand Tudor home, the result of the addition was the perceived doubling of the interior spaces.
The placement of the addition was deliberate in capturing a spectacular outcropping of ledge, creating a private inner space to the house's back yard while bringing the effect of the ledge into feeling of the interior space.  The kitchen and conservatory have become a flexible family space for communal cooking, music, and studying.
